Illustration Friday, and stuff.

Illustration Friday! I actually did this week's promot! You can see it here. Not brilliant. Not even close to brilliant. But...better than nothing, and at least my people look relatively normal. Usually when I try to draw ballroom couples it just looks wrong. XD

Let's see...what else do I have to say?

I'm tired. I don't know what we are doing this weekend. I kind of don't want to do anything, because I'm tired of not feeling well. But I haven't felt well anyways the past three days so I don't know if it will make me feel that much worse.

Meh.

I really want to buy yarn and beads but I don't feel like I can afford it, so...I haven't. :(

Enough whining. I will go do something useful now. Meh.

Illo Friday and stuff

So I got this week's illo friday prompt up here. So go look at it. It amuses me, even though I had a lot of trouble coming up with anything for this...I feel like my prompts are always shallow or tongue-in-cheek and very hmmm not serious. Maybe next week I will try something serious.

I used the copic markers. I love those markers. But one of them (Cool Grey No. 7) is totally dry. And that makes me sad. I guess I need to order refill? -_-

I also scanned in ummm three or four magazines, so that is slowly making progress. It takes forever to scan things though. Sigh.

I dyed my cookie dough (that sounds bad, doesn't it?) for the pixel cookies, which I will bake as soon as I get my oven cleaned out so it doesn't catch on fire again. Oops. ^^' The pink is NEON pink, it's kind of ummm...not edible looking, haha. I need to make my patterns...I will see what I can come up with. I have some ideas...

Syd is still sick but went to work anyways (even though I tried to tell him no! He just wouldn't listen! >.<).

There was something else I was going to say but I have no idea what it was. Hm.

I finished clue 2 of the Magic Star KAL. It is so pretty now! I love lace knitting...I should knit more shawls. Yep. I want to design a shawl, too...

Mid-Week Updates

Illustration Friday - Climbing

This has been a pretty annoying week. :\ I just have not been feeling well all week...Wednesday was the only day I felt halfway decent, and it was also the only day that I got anything done.

I hate feeling bad and knowing that there is stuff that I want to do that I just don't feel good enough to bother with. Sigh.

Illustration Friday - Pale

So I submitted a drawing to illustration friday again this week. 2/2 so far! ^_^

Really happy with the expression, less happy with the bangs, but overall not too bad considering I did it in about an hour or less.

Also I have been keeping up with exercising and eating less, so hopefully I am progressing on that scale as well (no pun intended).

Need to work more with poi. I did create a list of all the poi moves I know how to do but I need to review them and review linking them all together as well as learning new moves. I wish there was a poi group in my area.

Going to do some bellydance now, I think. Or maybe more DDR. Or maybe...maybe I will just do nothing at all. :P

I need to email my love. Yeah I will do that and then figure out what else to do!
